MEET SCOTT ALEXANDER 

 

Scott Alexander is an Author, an Educator, a Speaker, a Singer/Songwriter, and a Cultural Enthusiast.  He is available for Consulting, Teaching, Presenting, Educational Workshops, Conventions, and Book Signings. His enthusiasm for Public Education is contagious and he can give new cause for the joy of teaching. 

Scott is currently a Teaching Associate in the Spadoni College of Education at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC.  He is teaching classes in Intro to Elementary Education, Early Childhood Literacy,  Elementary Literacy, and Language for the Learning Disabled.

Scott  is also the Technology Manager for the Horry County Schools Adult Education Division with an office at the Myrtle Beach Family Learning Center. He coordinates the SC Virtual School Program, Exit Exam, and End of Course Exams for High School Diploma candidates. He maintains the Division's Website at www.edtheturtle.com .

Scott Alexander will come to your school, business, scout group, church group, or in-service and interact through speaking, performing, and hands-on workshops for education.  He has expertise in pre-school through adult education.  Topics are negotiable and can be customized to your needs.

Scott's 1st book is entitled-

Snapshots: Chronicles of an Educator

It is a compilation of his 30 years of serving children in Texas, South Carolina, and North Carolina Public Schools.  He has a BA Degree from Catawba College, Salisbury, NC, in Early Childhood Education.  He has a Masters Degree from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC, in Elementary Administration.  He has 36 post graduate hours in Curriculum and Technology from College of Charleston, Francis Marion University, and Charleston Southern University, all in SC.
