Snapshots: Chronicles of an Educator www.outskirtspress.com/scottalexander
Scott has his second book on the shelves entitled:
MY DOG NAMED WHATEVER
This children's book is a delightful, fast moving, adventure about a dog that has "powers" and picks CB (a 12- year old boy) to help him fight the man who kept him locked up in a science lab for years. Scott has meshed the names of former students that he taught over the years and his 8-year old daughter, Leslie, approves of the story. It is written for intermediate readers and has a wonderful comic atmosphere about the life of a 12-year old boy, who has just moved and needs a friend.
